Each camp is open to any and all girls meeting the age/grade requirements listed for the camp.
Each team will have a member of the WVSU Women’s Soccer roster assigned to them as their dedicated camp counselor. Our counselors will stay in counselor dorm rooms in Keith Hall for the duration of the camp. These counselors will accompany their team to every practice, game, meal and event that takes place on the camp and will act as role models for the participants.
Our camp will be held at the award winning Shawnee Sports Complex , based in Dunbar, West Virginia. All training sessions will be held at the state of the art turf complex, walking distance from WVSU.
All residential campers will be housed in the Keith Scholars Residence Hall on WVSU’s campus. All dorms are air-conditioned. Please email Glen.Butler@wvstateu.edu if you would like to submit a roommate request. This must a minimum of 10 days prior to the start of camp or it may not be possible to honor this request. There is a zero tolerance policy for any camper switching rooms without permission. Any camper doing so will be sent home from camp without NO refund as this a significant liability and safety issue.
Campers interested in purchasing WVSU Apparel will be able to do so during camp. A camp t-shirt and ball will be included with your registration.
Players will eat three meals a day on campus; this is included in your camp tuition. Players will also receive snacks throughout the day and in the evening before bed.
Refunds will be processed up until two weeks prior to camp. Any refund processed will be subject to a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be processed within two weeks of the camp.
This is due to the financial logistics associated with the running of such a large camp and payments needing to be made to other areas of the camp such as housing, meals, insurance as well as other areas of the camp.
